CLARINET – Communication of Local AuthoRities for INtegration in European Towns

The CLARINET Project – Communication of Local AuthoRities for INtegration in European Towns – was created with the aim of raising awareness among European citizens about the contribution of migration in our societies.
In the first phase of the project good practices of public communication realised by Local Authorities at European level on migration and integration issues are identified and promoted through the establishment of a European Award. Subsequently, through training and support, the project intends to strengthen the communication skills of Local Authorities involved in the partnership for the realisation of successful public campaigns on migration and integration issues.

For Clarinet, Lai-momo created the clarinetproject.eu website, which we conceived and realised starting from an interface with a simple iconographic style (flat-design, use of icons and geometric elements), using an immediate language and an essential structure designed to facilitate navigation and user experience. Some simple interactive animation effects also give the site an informal communicative character designed to facilitate access to complex themes and content.

Most of the information and material accessible on the site is dedicated to the Award and defined in a few steps, allowing quick and intuitive access by the user. On each page there is a direct link to the campaign application form and contact information. One section is entirely dedicated to the Award regulations, which can also be downloaded in PDF format.

On the site it is also possible to search for nominations by European country and/or by type of campaign (Web and social media, traditional media and Events), as well as to access a preview of the projects nominated for the Prize.
For a simplified use of the information, the site is available in 8 languages (Italian, English, German, Slovenian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Greek and Romanian), while the candidate initiatives are described in an abstract in English.
